According to the United States Drought Monitor map for February 11, 2014, 88 percent of Texas is in some level of drought. Approximately 23 percent of Texas is in “severe” or “worse” drought conditions, and eight percent of Texas is in “extreme” or “exceptional drought.” That means we will have continued water restrictions throughout Texas – and the cost of water will probably increase. But this doesn’t mean that we all have to suffer with dry and yellow yards throughout the summer and fall. By installing beautiful, natural looking artificial turf one can have a green yard all year long. That will make everyone happy and help the water supply, too.
