Dogs like artificial turf, too

As soon as my neighbors installed artificial turf in their backyard, most of their dog’s sneezing and scratching vanished. It seemed that the dog was allergic to the weed and feed they were putting on the natural grass — as well as some of the fungus growing in the grass because of our unusually warm weather. Artificial turf is tough and can withstand some of the roughness that a dog can create. And my neighbor’s children can now play year round in the backyard without worrying about tracking in mud or having grass stains all over their clothes. The Grass Queen
